Jamie’s practice includes a wide range of matters, including corporate-commercial litigation, regulatory proceedings and professional liability matters. He has a particular interest in complex business disputes, securities litigation and administrative law.


He has experience prosecuting claims at contested hearings and on appeal. He has appeared at all levels of court in Ontario and before administrative tribunals, including the Ontario Securities Commission and the Ontario Review Board. 

Jamie joined Naymark Law after acting as litigation counsel for the Ontario Securities Commission, where he carried out administrative prosecutions under the Securities Act. Prior to that, Jamie was an associate at Wardle Daley Bernstein Bieber LLP, a Bay Street litigation boutique, and at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP, a large Bay Street firm, and served as a law clerk at the Supreme Court of Canada for the Honourable Justice Marie Deschamps. 


Jamie was a top student at McGill Faculty of Law and earned academic awards and prizes for highest standing in several courses. Jamie holds a B.A. in political science and economics (joint honours) and an M.A. from McGill University, where he studied as a Guy Drummond scholar.
