Terrence maintains a broad civil, commercial and regulatory litigation practice. He has acted for clients in a range of matters, from simple contract disputes to large-scale commercial litigation, as well as cases involving professional liability, class actions, securities, and regulatory disputes. He has worked with a variety of clients, from individuals to small and large companies to government organizations. Terrence has appeared before all levels of court in Ontario.
Terrence joined Naymark Law in 2018 after serving an appointment as Senior Policy Advisor to Ontario’s Minister of Economic Development. Before that, Terrence worked as an associate at a prominent Bay Street litigation boutique, clerked at the Court of Appeal for Ontario, and practiced at a large, full-service Bay Street firm.
Terrence shares Naymark Law’s commitment to community engagement. He has been an active member of The Advocates’ Society and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers. He has also volunteered with non-profit groups, such as the Ontario Justice Education Network and Lawyers Feed the Hungry.
Terrence graduated as gold medallist from the University of Windsor’s Canadian and American Dual-Degree program (2012), with two law degrees in Canadian and US law. He is called to both the Ontario (2013) and New York (2016) bars. He also has an M.A. in Religious Studies (2008) and a B.Sc in Biology (2006) from Queen’s University.
